Sarena Parmar

Sarena is stage and screen actress, originally from Kelowna, British Columbia. She is best known for her role as Chandra Metha on the Canadian television series, How To Be Indie. Sarena has also guest-starred on Degrassi: The Next Generation and Flashpoint. A graduate of the prestigious National Theatre School of Canada, Sarena made her acting debut in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with The Canadian Stage Company. She now splits her time between filming, acting on stage, and playwriting. Sarena is also a proud supporter of Because I am a Girl, an organization that promotes girl empowerment and global gender equality.
